COMTE DE GRASSE 44°N GIN
Gin distilled on the French Riviera. Inspired by the perfume mastery of Grasse.
At first, the top notes in 44ºN delight your nose with fresh, zingy citrus aromas of lemon and Grapefruit.
Next a blooming floral body punctuated by jammy facets of bitter orange and warm pepper round out the middle notes.
Finally, the base notes. Tangy with alexanders and orris and the sweetness of honey ensures a sweet yet musky long lasting effect on the tongue, holding the end nicely as floral and citrus notes mingle delightfully together.

BASE The tangy warm spicy notes of Alexanders in reminiscent of the undergrowth where our Cade grows freely. Orris and honey ensure a sweet yet musky long-lasting effect on the tongue, holding their end as floral and citrus notes mingle nicely together.
BODY A blooming floral body with hints of Grasse’s Rose Centifolia and Jasmine. Jammy facets of Bitter Orange are countered by the herbaceous punch of Angelica. Hints of warm pepper here and there round out the middle notes.
TOP The first thing that hits your nose is fresh zingy lemon peel and Grapefruit. The aroma of a marine breeze, Samphire, is punctuated by touches of Mimosa. Cade adds woody, piny facets.
The different notes are endless. They don’t arrive in the same order or at the same time. Whenever we try to put words to the intriguing journey that is 44°N, we always come up short. 44°N does not.

Comte de Grasse is a collaborative exploration influenced by the terroir, heritage and innovation from the beautiful Côte d’Azur, France. Their home is the majestic perfume distillery Bertrand & Fils, in Roure, dating back to 1820. They have been meticulously restoring the inside of their beautiful building into a hub of innovation, where traditional distilling methods meld with technologically enhanced extraction techniques.
